On September 23, the Jaipur Pink Panthers achieved a dramatic victory against U Mumba, winning 6-4 in a tie-breaker after the match ended in a 38-38 draw at the SMS Indoor Stadium in Jaipur. This win marks their third consecutive victory following a challenging start to the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 (PKL 2025).


After initially winning only two of their first five matches, the Jaipur Pink Panthers have now improved their record to five wins and three losses, placing them fifth in the league standings.


Conversely, U Mumba has fallen to seventh place after suffering their fourth defeat this season. This loss marks their second in a row, and they will be eager to bounce back quickly to remain competitive for a playoff spot.


PKL 2025: Jaipur Pink Panthers Clinch a Thrilling Win


Nitin Kumar stood out for the Jaipur Pink Panthers, achieving a Super 10, while Reza Mirbagheri and Vinay contributed significantly with four tackles and six raids, respectively. Despite Sandeep's impressive Super 10 for U Mumba, it was not enough to secure a win.


The match began with the Jaipur Pink Panthers taking an early lead, scoring six points within the first five minutes, led by Nitin's aggressive raids. U Mumba's Sathish Kannan managed to score a bonus point to open their account.


Building on their momentum, the Panthers executed an all-out on U Mumba, extending their lead to 9-1. They continued to dominate, but U Mumba managed to narrow the gap to 5-12 by the end of the first quarter, thanks to tackles from Lokesh Ghosliya and Parvesh Bhainswal.


U Mumba found their rhythm and executed an all-out on the Panthers, briefly taking a one-point lead after a Super Raid from Sandeep. At halftime, the Panthers held a narrow 17-16 advantage.


The second half saw both teams exchanging points until U Mumba regained control, inflicting a second all-out on the Panthers. With Sandeep's Super 10 and strong defensive plays, U Mumba surged ahead to a 33-24 lead with under five minutes left.


Just when it seemed U Mumba would secure an easy victory, the Panthers mounted a comeback. Nitin completed his Super 10, and with less than a minute remaining, Deepanshu Khatri's tackle leveled the score at 38-38, leading to a tie-breaker. The Panthers capitalized on their momentum, ultimately winning the tie-breaker 6-4.
