At just 15 years old, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is aware that with time, accolades will come his way, but he remains committed to his journey of excellence.

Following an impressive performance where he scored 93 runs off 38 balls in a decisive seven-wicket win against Lucknow Super Giants, Sooryavanshi maintained a composed demeanor amidst the growing attention.

When asked if he keeps up with the media coverage about him, he chuckled, saying, 'I don’t read newspapers or anything like that.'

He added, 'I believe this is just the beginning. If I have a lengthy career, many things will be said about me. My focus is solely on my game and the journey ahead.' Sooryavanshi has already accumulated 574 runs in this IPL season.

During the match, he started slowly, scoring only 11 runs from his first 12 balls, but quickly accelerated to reach his half-century in just 23 balls.

'While I was sitting during the bowling, the pitch looked promising. I wanted to take my time and not rush, knowing it would benefit my teammates as well. I always felt I could score at any moment,' he explained.

Sooryavanshi has a variety of celebrations for his achievements, though he admits they are spontaneous. 'Even I’m not sure what my last celebration meant; I just like to try new things.'
