Hubballi (Karnataka) [India], July 3: Ritesh Bhatkal showcased an impressive unbeaten 75 runs off 42 balls, guiding the Mysore Warriors to a thrilling three-wicket win against the Gulbarga Mystics in the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 on Friday. Bhatkal's performance was pivotal as he anchored the innings, leading the Warriors to victory in just 19.3 overs.
In pursuit of a target of 197, the 33-year-old player demonstrated resilience, recovering the team from an early setback at 2/39. His innings included four boundaries and five sixes. He received support from Manoj Bhandage, who contributed 24 runs off 15 balls, as the duo added 37 runs in 23 balls, helping the Warriors regain control despite a strong bowling effort from the Mystics, particularly Nathan D'Mello (3-38), Paras Gurbax Arya (2-24), and Ronit More (2-41).
With this victory, the Warriors climbed out of the last position, achieving their third win in eight matches, now sitting fourth with seven points. Conversely, the Mystics fell to sixth place with six points after suffering their fifth defeat.
