Phil Salt was the standout performer, scoring 78 runs off just 36 balls, earning him the Player of the Match accolade. Additionally, captain Rajat Patidar contributed significantly with a quickfire 53 runs from 20 deliveries. The bowling efforts of Krunal Pandya (1/26) and Suyash Sharma (2/47) were crucial in limiting the Mumbai Indians' scoring, as noted in a statement from RCB.

Reflecting on the team's batting prowess, Patidar expressed confidence, stating, "Currently, it feels like we are consistently scoring over 200 runs in every match. This boosts my confidence as a captain, knowing the talent we possess in our squad."
