Kohli Leads RCB to Victory

RCB's victory was characterized by a disciplined bowling performance followed by Kohli's exceptional batting. After GT opted to bat first, their innings quickly fell apart as their top order struggled during the powerplay. Key players like Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill, and Jos Buttler were dismissed cheaply, leading to a series of wickets falling at regular intervals. Washington Sundar stood out for GT, scoring a resilient 50 not out, but lacked support from his teammates, preventing them from gaining any momentum.

RCB's bowling attack was led by Rasikh Salam, who delivered an outstanding performance with figures of 3 wickets for 27 runs in four overs. Veteran bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood also contributed significantly, each taking two wickets. In response, RCB started their chase strongly with a 62-run opening partnership. Although they lost a few quick wickets, Kohli maintained control, finishing the innings unbeaten on 75 and leading RCB to a commanding title victory. This match marked his fastest fifty in IPL history and his first playoff half-century in a decade.
