Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh) [India], May 26: In a thrilling IPL playoff match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar delivered an outstanding performance, scoring an impressive 93 runs off just 33 balls against the Gujarat Titans (GT) on Tuesday.


During the first Qualifier, both teams were vying for a direct entry into the finals, and Patidar stepped up remarkably, hitting five fours and nine sixes at a phenomenal strike rate of 281.82.


In his six playoff innings in the IPL, Patidar has accumulated 338 runs, boasting an average of 112.66 and a strike rate of 193.14, which includes a century and two half-centuries. His remarkable 112* against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 2022 Eliminator is regarded as one of the best innings by an RCB player.


Throughout the IPL playoffs, he has hit 25 fours and 24 sixes, placing him behind only Suresh Raina (40), MS Dhoni (28), and Kieron Pollard (25) in terms of sixes hit.
