The Royals secured a convincing victory, winning by 8 wickets with 47 balls remaining. A standout player was the 15-year-old prodigy, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who delivered a remarkable innings, scoring a dazzling half-century.


Sooryavanshi hit 51 runs off just 17 balls, featuring 4 fours and 5 sixes. He achieved his fifty in a mere 15 deliveries, marking the second-fastest half-century in Rajasthan Royals' IPL history. Previously, he had scored a fifty in 17 balls against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025, making him the first player to record multiple fifties for the franchise in under 18 balls.

Additionally, he formed a solid 75-run opening partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal, contributing to RR's total of 74 runs during the powerplay. Sooryavanshi had already made headlines in IPL 2025 with a century and two fifties, becoming the youngest player ever to score a century in IPL history.
