On May 28, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha visited the Punjab Kings (PBKS) team to commend them for their impressive performance in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

The competition heats up as the Punjab Kings prepare to face the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the first qualifier of IPL 2025 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, on May 29.


Having topped the league stage with nine victories out of fourteen matches, PBKS is in a strong position. Royal Challengers Bengaluru also achieved nine wins but secured second place due to net run rate.


In their last league match, Punjab Kings triumphed over Mumbai Indians with a convincing 7-wicket win, highlighted by Josh Inglis's impressive 73 runs.


On the other hand, Bengaluru successfully chased their highest target in IPL history against Lucknow Super Giants, winning by 6 wickets, with Jitesh Sharma contributing a crucial 85 runs.
