Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 1: The Jabalpur Royal Lions have officially revealed their lineup for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup 2026.


This squad features seasoned players like Punit Datey, alongside notable talents such as Ajay Rohera and Mihir Hirwani, enhancing the team's overall strength.


Aayush Lalwani, representing the Jabalpur Royal Lions, which is backed by Econexis Sports, expressed confidence in the team, stating, “Our approach this season will be bold, as we have assembled a squad that combines experienced athletes with eager young talents. The Jabalpur Royal Lions will kick off their campaign against the Indore Pink Panthers on June 6, with the match scheduled for the evening at Holkar Stadium.


The new season of the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup is set to commence on June 3, featuring the Gwalior Cheetahs facing off against the Ujjain Falcons in the inaugural match of the men's tournament at Holkar Stadium in Indore.


MPL 2026 promises to be the largest edition yet, introducing an expanded format that includes 10 men's teams and five women's franchises.


New additions to the men's competition include the Malwa Stallions, Ujjain Falcons, and Royal Nimar Eagles, joining the defending champions Bhopal Leopards, along with Bundelkhand Bulls, Chambal Ghariyals, Gwalior Cheetahs, Indore Pink Panthers, Jabalpur Royal Lions, and Rewa Jaguars.


The women's tournament has also expanded, now featuring Gwalior Shernis and Royal Nimar Eagles, who will compete against Bhopal Wolves, Bundelkhand Bulls, and Chambal Ghariyals in a five-team format.
