Dubai [UAE], October 28: The Gulf Giants, owned by Adani Sportsline, have officially added West Indies left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein to their lineup as a wild-card selection for the upcoming fifth season of the International League T20 (ILT20). This strategic move brings an experienced international bowler into their ranks ahead of the tournament, as stated in a recent press release.

With an impressive tally of 281 wickets across more than 300 T20 matches, including 95 wickets in over 100 T20 Internationals, Hosein boasts a best performance of 5/11. His precision and control make him a valuable asset, particularly in the middle overs where he can effectively limit scoring opportunities.

Hosein is no stranger to the ILT20, having previously played for the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders and MI Emirates. In his 29 matches within the league, he has secured 21 wickets at an economy rate of 7.10, with his best figures being 4/23. This familiarity with the competition should facilitate his integration into the Giants' bowling strategy for the new season.
