Guwahati (Assam) [India], August 12: In a commanding performance, the Dibrugarh Warriors successfully chased down a target of 111 runs, defeating the Nagaon Rangers by eight wickets during match number 23 of the Assam Premier League 2026 at the ACA Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday.

Diwiz Pathak played a pivotal role in the chase, scoring an unbeaten fifty, while Rituraj Biswas provided solid support, ensuring a smooth victory for the Warriors.

Earlier in the match, Sidhartha Sankar Baruah stood out with the ball, taking three wickets and helping to limit the Nagaon Rangers to a modest total, despite a resilient innings from Jitu Ali.

Choosing to bowl first, the Warriors made an excellent start as Ranjan Bikash Das dismissed Sumit Kashyap on the very first ball of the match. Jitu Ali then led the Rangers with a determined 42 runs off 35 balls, hitting six boundaries.
