He acknowledged the crucial role of data analytics in their achievements and expressed gratitude towards the behind-the-scenes staff for helping the team reach consecutive Indian Premier League (IPL) finals.

It feels reminiscent of 2016 as Bhuvneshwar dons the Purple Cap once again, heading into another IPL final, this time with RCB instead of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The possibility of facing SRH in the final looms if they can defeat Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the eliminator and GT in the Qualifier two.

RCB's comprehensive 92-run victory showcased a well-rounded performance, highlighted by captain Rajat Patidar's explosive 93 runs off just 33 balls, along with significant contributions from Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya. Bhuvneshwar and Jacob Duffy's impressive bowling during the powerplay set the stage for RCB's chance to secure back-to-back IPL titles.

Reflecting on the match, Bhuvneshwar stated, “Much of the credit goes to the meticulous planning behind the scenes. While the experience that Josh Hazlewood and I bring is valuable, the support staff's attention to detail has been instrumental. In response, GT's batting lineup crumbled, with only Rahul Tewatia (68 off 43 balls, with eight fours and four sixes) and Jos Buttler (29 off 11 balls, with three fours and two sixes) managing to score above 20 runs, leading to their total of 162 runs. Jacob Duffy (3/39) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2/28) dismantled GT's top order, marking a downward spiral for the Titans.

This marks RCB's fifth appearance in the IPL finals, placing them third behind Mumbai Indians (six finals and five titles) and Chennai Super Kings (ten finals and five titles).

Additionally, this victory represents the second-largest margin in IPL knockout history, surpassed only by Rajasthan Royals' 105-run win over Delhi Capitals in 2008.
