This article delves into the details of the new arrangements and what fans can expect in the upcoming matches.

IPL Final and Play-Offs Venue Announcement

Ahmedabad has been selected to host the final match of the Indian Premier League on June 3, alongside Qualifier 2. Meanwhile, Mullanpur is anticipated to serve as the location for the initial two play-off games scheduled for this month.

Due to the impending monsoon season, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has relocated the May 23 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and SunRisers Hyderabad from Bengaluru to Lucknow, as the previous game at Chinnaswamy Stadium was canceled due to rain.

Originally, Hyderabad and Kolkata were slated to host the play-offs, but the IPL timetable was adjusted following the military tensions between India and Pakistan, which caused a week-long suspension of the tournament.

The BCCI has taken the rainy season into account when finalizing the venues for the matches.

A BCCI representative confirmed, 'Mullanpur and Ahmedabad have been designated as the two venues for the play-offs.'

Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator are expected to occur in Mullanpur on May 29 and 30, while Ahmedabad will host Qualifier 2 and the final on June 1 and 3. Notably, Ahmedabad previously held the IPL finals in both 2022 and 2023.
