On the third day of the Commonwealth Cue Sports Championships 2026, held at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex in Ahmedabad, Indian players Dhvaj Haria, Anupama Ramachandran, and Revanna Umadevi secured their spots in the finals. Haria reached the Men's Snooker final, while Ramachandran and Umadevi will compete in an all-Indian final for Women's English Billiards. Other Indian competitors are still in the running as the Championships move towards the medal matches scheduled for Saturday, as reported by the Commonwealth Cue Sports Championships.


Men's Snooker Highlights

In the Men's Snooker category, Dhvaj Haria showcased an outstanding performance, defeating Darren Morgan from Wales with a score of 3-1 in the quarter-finals. He then overcame fellow Indian Laxman Singh Rawat, also by 3-1, to secure his place in the final. Rawat had earlier advanced by winning 3-0 against England's Craig MacGillivray. Aditya Mehta also made it to the semi-finals after a convincing 3-0 victory over Ross Vallance from England.


Women's Snooker Results

In the Women's Snooker event, Ishika Shah triumphed over fellow Indian Snenthra Babu with a 3-0 win in the quarter-finals. Shruthi Lakshminarayanan also achieved a 3-0 victory against Canada's Simone Lloyd, while Keerthana Pandian progressed by defeating England's Gillian Hayes 3-0. However, Shah's journey ended in the semi-finals when she lost 0-3 to Rebecca Kenna from England.


English Billiards Success

India's strong performance continued in English Billiards, with Anupama Ramachandran and Revanna Umadevi both advancing to the Women's final. Ramachandran secured a narrow 1-0 victory over England's Mhairi Roberta Mackay, while Umadevi triumphed with a 1-0 win against Australia's Julie Watson, setting the stage for an all-Indian final.
