On Monday, Union Ministers expressed their congratulations to the Indian junior men's and women's hockey teams following their impressive title wins at the AHF Junior Asia Cup 2026. The players were praised for their outstanding performances and significant contributions to India's sporting achievements.

Historic Hat-Trick for Junior Women's Team

The Indian Junior Women’s Team clinched the championship title at the AHF Junior Asia Cup 2026, narrowly defeating the host nation, China, with a score of 1-0 in a tense final held on Sunday. A goal from Sanika Chandrakant Mane in the 17th minute secured the victory, allowing the defending champions to achieve a remarkable hat-trick of titles in the Women’s Junior Asia Cup.
