Indian Golf Stars Set to Shine on International Stage

Chandigarh, India - July 24: Athletes from the Roundglass Golf Academy, Guntas Kaur Sandhu and Rashi Mishra, have been chosen to represent India in two esteemed international amateur golf tournaments.

Guntas Kaur Sandhu will compete in the 40th Malaysian Ladies Amateur Championship, taking place in Malaysia from July 28 to 30, as confirmed in an official announcement.

Additionally, she will be joined by her fellow academy mate, Rashi Mishra, in the Indian squad for the R&A Girls Amateur Championship, scheduled for August 10 to 15, 2026, in Scotland.

These selections highlight a remarkable season for both golfers, who have excelled in various national and international amateur competitions. Guntas has made a name for herself as one of India's most promising young golfers, achieving notable victories, including winning the IGU West Bengal Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship and securing runner-up positions at the IGU Eastern India Championship.

Her international experience includes participation in prestigious events such as the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific Championship and the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation Junior Championship.

Similarly, Rashi Mishra has emerged as a talented junior golfer, consistently competing in top amateur tournaments and representing India at the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation Junior Championship earlier this year.
