India Unveils Junior Teams for 2026 Pickleball World Cup in Vietnam

The Indian Pickleball Association has unveiled its junior teams for the upcoming 2026 Pickleball World Cup in Da Nang, Vietnam. Following a successful selection trial, the teams consist of top young players in the Under-14 and Under-18 categories. With high hopes after winning a bronze medal in the last tournament, the athletes will undergo rigorous training to prepare for the competition. India's Junior Teams Announced for World Cup


The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) has officially revealed the junior teams set to compete in the upcoming Pickleball World Cup 2026, scheduled to take place in Da Nang, Vietnam. The selection process was highly competitive, with trials conducted in Ahmedabad from June 12 to 14, 2026. The final team comprises the nation's finest young talents divided into two categories: Kids (Under-14) and Juniors (Under-18). Following a bronze medal achievement at the last tournament in Florida, India approaches the 2026 World Cup with great optimism. To ensure peak performance, the chosen players will undergo a rigorous high-performance training regimen focusing on technical skills, fitness, mental conditioning, and nutrition. The Cosmic Birla Group is the official sponsor of the team.


“This junior team embodies the future of Indian Pickleball. After our commendable performance in Florida, these Under-14 and Under-18 athletes have been selected based on their exceptional merit and form to represent the next generation on the world stage. Da Nang will serve as a true test, and we are confident that this team will compete with great passion, proudly carrying the tricolor and inspiring many young enthusiasts back home to take up the sport,” stated Suryaveer Singh Bhullar, President of the Indian Pickleball Association.

The U18 team for the 2026 Pickleball World Cup is captained by Arjun Singh, who recently excelled at the Junior Pickleball Championship, clinching titles in singles, boys' doubles, and mixed doubles. Earlier this year, he and his brother, Aditya Singh, also secured the doubles title at the US Open. “Representing India at the World Cup is an unparalleled honor, and I take this responsibility seriously. Our squad is incredibly strong, and we are optimistic about surpassing our previous results. I wish all members of the Indian team the best of luck,” expressed a thrilled Arjun Singh.


The junior lineup also includes Naomi Amalsadiwala (Arjun's mixed doubles partner), Dev Shah, Purvansh Patel, Vivaan Patel, Ashritha Raju, and Diya Mattipati.
