India Under-19 Team Set to Conquer England in Multi-Day Matches

The India Under-19 cricket team is on a tour of England, having recently triumphed in a 3-2 ODI series. They are now preparing for three multi-day matches, with captain Ayush Mhatre leading the squad. Young talent Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who impressed during IPL 2025, is expected to be a standout player. India Under-19 Team's England Tour

The India Under-19 cricket team is currently touring England, having recently secured a 3-2 victory in the One Day International (ODI) series. Following this success, they are now gearing up to take on the challenge of red-ball cricket. The upcoming series will feature three multi-day matches between the India Under-19 and England Under-19 teams.




Ayush Mhatre will continue to lead the India Under-19 squad during this series, which will consist of the same players who participated in the ODI matches. All eyes will be on Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Bihar, who has made a significant impact in white-ball cricket. The 14-year-old showcased his talent during IPL 2025, where he performed exceptionally well for the Rajasthan Royals.




In IPL 2025, Vaibhav played 7 matches, scoring 252 runs at an average of 36 and an impressive strike rate of 206.55, including one century and one half-century. He further demonstrated his skills during the youth ODI series in England, amassing 355 runs at a strike rate of 174.01 across five matches, which featured one century and one half-century, along with 30 fours and 29 sixes.




The first of the multi-day matches between India Under-19 and England Under-19 is scheduled to take place from July 12 to July 15 at the Kent County Cricket Ground in Beckenham. The second match will follow from July 20 to July 23 at the Ambassador Cruise Line Ground in Chelmsford.
