He remarked, "You need to go out there, control your feelings, and showcase your skills. With so many fans expecting a win, the favorites tag can add pressure. However, it's essential to set aside those thoughts. Everyone experiences nerves, and it's normal to feel butterflies in your stomach."

"Once you step onto the field and feel the crowd's support, it serves as a great motivator. This feeling drives players to perform exceptionally. When every team member shares this mindset, it unites the entire squad. It's not just about the eleven players on the field; even those on the bench and the support staff contribute to this collective strength," Chawla added.

Sanju Samson's Impact on India's Success

Chawla also praised Sanju Samson for his significant contributions in India's recent victories. Samson has been in outstanding form, scoring 97 not out against the West Indies and 89 runs in the semi-final against South Africa. Chawla noted, "As a cricketer, moments like these are what you strive for. The match against the West Indies was essentially a quarter-final, and Sanju made chasing 195 look effortless, showcasing his batting prowess. In the match against England, he ensured he capitalized on every opportunity to score."

"Wankhede Stadium offers great advantages for batters, so players must convert even difficult deliveries into boundary opportunities. It's crucial to aim for a score higher than what you initially plan, as we witnessed with India scoring over 250 runs. At one point, we thought 250 would be a competitive score, but England fell just seven runs short," he explained.

Varun Chakaravarthy's Performance Analysis

Varun Chakaravarthy, India's mystery spinner, is currently tied as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 13 wickets. However, he enters the final after a challenging outing against England, where he recorded figures of 64 runs for 1 wicket.
