New Delhi, July 7: The India A men's hockey team is gearing up to kick off their European tour, starting with a match against Ireland at the Hockey Club Oranje-Rood in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on Tuesday. This tour, organized by Hockey India, includes eight matches against top European teams, aimed at providing crucial international experience to a blend of emerging and seasoned players.

The squad, featuring a balanced mix of youth and experience, is captained by Sanjay, who expressed enthusiasm about the tour. He stated, “This European tour presents a fantastic opportunity for our team. We anticipate facing tough competition and are eager to challenge ourselves against these teams. The combination of youth and experience in our lineup will be beneficial during these matches.”

During the tour, the India A team will compete in two matches each against Ireland, France, and the Netherlands, along with single matches against England and Belgium.
