Exciting New Tournament in Dallas

The Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas is gearing up to host the first-ever MLP Nations Cup from October 30 to November 1. This thrilling international tournament will showcase top-tier professional pickleball teams from various regions around the globe. The competition will feature eight teams competing over three days, with the initial two days (Friday and Saturday) dedicated to round-robin matches, where teams will vie for optimal positioning ahead of Championship Sunday.

Understanding the MLP Nations Cup Format

On the final day, the leading teams will face off in a single-elimination bracket. This inaugural event will include teams from significant pickleball markets worldwide, each led by renowned players and ambassadors. The primary goal of the tournament is to attract elite talent while fostering regional pride and international rivalries. Teams will represent the USA, Canada, two from Asia, and others from Western and Eastern Europe, South America, and Australia.

The MLP Nations Cup will also mark the official launch of the 2026 Pickleball World Championships. With national pride on the line, fans can expect to see exceptional talent on display. The atmosphere is anticipated to be festive, extending beyond the court, promising fast-paced rallies and thrilling finishes. In a recent social media announcement, Major League Pickleball stated, "This Fall, MLP is bringing global team talent together in a big way! Eight international pro teams will compete in the inaugural MLP Nations Cup from October 30–November 1 at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch. Representing the USA, Canada, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South America, Australia, and two teams from Asia, the event will kick off the 2026 Pickleball World Championships in Dallas," they added.
