Exciting Judo Championship Announced for Delhi

The Inspire Institute of Sport, in partnership with the Delhi Judo Council, has unveiled the IIS Rajdhani Judo Championships for the 2025-26 season. This inter-club event is scheduled to take place at Thyagraj Stadium from August 26 to 28, attracting over 850 judokas from across Delhi.


Participants will compete in various categories, including Mini Sub Junior, Sub Junior, Cadet (Boys and Girls), and Senior (Men and Women). The competition will utilize three mats, employing a round-robin format to maximize each athlete's competitive experience. All matches will adhere to the standards set by the International Judo Federation (IJF) and the Judo Federation of India (JFI).

Eligibility for the championship is limited to judokas who are registered players in Delhi and reside in the city, ensuring a showcase of the region's talent.
