Haryana's Triumph in Mixed Team Event

In a remarkable display of skill, Haryana's Ramita Jindal and Himanshu Dhillon clinched the gold medal in the 10m air rifle mixed team event at the 68th National Shooting Championship held at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy on Tuesday. They triumphed over Maharashtra's Arya Borse and Parth Mane with a score of 16-12, further highlighting Himanshu's exceptional performance, who had set a new national and junior national record of 634.5 in the men's 10m air rifle event the day before, according to a press release from the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).


Bronze Medal Match Results

In the battle for bronze, Delhi's Rajshree Sancheti and Paarth Makhija secured third place by narrowly defeating the Madhya Pradesh team of Shreya Agrawal and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar with a score of 17-15.


Junior and Youth Mixed Team Highlights

The junior 10m air rifle mixed team gold was awarded to West Bengal, where Sandrata Roy and Abhinav Shaw showcased their composure to beat Tamil Nadu's Maneshika Tarun Senthil and Shaktivel Senthilvel 16-8 in the final. Karnataka's Hrudya Shri Kondur and Naraen Pranav took home the bronze after a 17-9 victory against Andhra Pradesh's Nishitha Bommidi and Ummahesh Maddineni.


In the youth category, Maharashtra's Isha Anil Taksale and Pritam Kendre emerged victorious in a closely contested final against Tamil Nadu's Maneshika Tarun Senthil and Shaktivel Senthilvel, winning 16-14. The bronze medal was claimed by Karnataka's Tilottama Sen and Abishek Sekhar, who defeated West Bengal's Sandratta Roy and Abhinav Shaw 17-9.


Upcoming Championship Events

Following the current championship, the competition will move to New Delhi after Christmas. The finals for the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Men are set for Friday, December 26, 2025, at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, commencing at 2:00 PM IST.
