Latest Updates in Women's ODI Rankings


Dubai: The latest ODI rankings for women have seen Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur rise to seventh place, while her teammate Smriti Mandhana continues to dominate the top position, as announced on Tuesday.


Kaur's ascent comes after New Zealand's Sophie Devine fell two spots to ninth.


Jemimah Rodrigues remains steady at the 12th position.


In a remarkable performance, New Zealand's Maddy Green scored 94 runs in the final match of the ICC Women’s Championship series against Zimbabwe, which has propelled her up the rankings.


Her impressive 73-ball innings in Dunedin was pivotal in securing a 200-run victory, allowing her to climb five places to 17th with a career-high rating of 610 points.


All-rounder Amelia Kerr, who was named Player of the Match for her outstanding performance of 80 runs and five wickets for 22 runs, also earned the Player of the Series title. She moved up from 21st to a tie for 19th among batters, achieving over 600 rating points in both batting and bowling.


Isabelle Gaze improved her ranking by three spots to 61st, while seam bowlers Rosemary Mair and Bree Illing also made gains, moving to 58th and 79th respectively.


In the T20I rankings, Amelia Kerr achieved a career-best rating of 694 points after scoring 78 runs off 44 balls in the opening match against South Africa, maintaining her eighth position in the bowling rankings.


Georgia Plimmer's score of 63 helped her rise from 50th to 41st, contributing to New Zealand's 90-run victory.


In T20I bowling, Jess Kerr's performance of two wickets for 13 runs allowed her to jump 11 places to 23rd, while Sophie Devine's best-ever figures of four wickets for 12 runs lifted her from 104th to 79th.
