In his post-match comments, the Indian all-rounder emphasized that he has many years of cricket ahead and aims to leverage this time to help India excel in international tournaments. "I have 10 more years left in me, and I want to win 10 more ICC titles. That's my goal. Winning at home and defending the title is quite emotional. The excitement from the fans is incredible. I believed we were champions from the start; losing was never an option," Pandya stated.

Pandya shared insights about a crucial moment when he bowled the 19th over against England in the semi-final. He recalled how experiences from the 2024 T20 World Cup helped him maintain his composure under pressure. "I am thankful for God. While bowling the 19th over against England, I thought about the 2024 World Cup final. I advised Kishan and Abhishek to focus on positive memories when they bat," he mentioned.
