The Guwahati Open PWR 200 brought together young talents and experienced players in a thrilling display of pickleball. With standout performances in various categories, including the U-18 Boys’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles, the tournament showcased the sport's ability to unite generations. Nikunj Kedia and Aditya Bikram Kamman dominated the U-18 finals, while veterans Dilip Mohanty and Nazneen Rahman showcased their skills in the 40+ and 50+ categories. The Guwahati Open PWR 200 showcased the vibrant spirit of pickleball, highlighting both youthful talent and seasoned players in the doubles events. In the U-18 Boys’ Doubles final, the pair of Nikunj Kedia and Aditya Bikram Kamman delivered an impressive performance, overpowering Ekansh Bagaria and Vaibhav Madiya with a score of 15-4. Their seamless teamwork and strategic play allowed them to control the match from the start, demonstrating the potential of India's upcoming pickleball stars.


In the Mixed Doubles 40+ final, Dilip Mohanty and Nazneen Rahman claimed victory with a composed 11-5 win against Chichan Shitiri and Babita Mohan Langthasa. Their ability to maintain calm during critical moments and effective coordination were key to their success, showcasing the tactical depth of veteran pickleball.


Meanwhile, in the 50+ Mixed Doubles category, Nazneen Rahman teamed up with Bipul Talukdar to defeat Babita Mohan Langthasa and Atiqur Rahman, also with an 11-5 scoreline. Rahman's experience shone through as they executed a well-balanced game to secure the title comfortably.
