Thrilling Cricket Action Awaits


New Delhi: Cricket enthusiasts globally are gearing up for an exhilarating month as the Men's T20 World Cup 2026, hosted by the International Cricket Council (ICC), is set to commence on February 7, culminating in the final on March 8.


This year's championship will see 20 teams battling it out in 55 matches for the coveted title. With the excitement of the World Cup captivating millions, fans are eager to witness the teams striving for glory.


India enters the tournament as the reigning champions, aiming to secure their third title and successfully defend their championship.


The teams have been organized into four groups of five, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Eights, where they will be seeded based on pre-established rankings.


Should Pakistan reach the semi-finals, the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo will take over as the venue for Semi-Final 1, and if they make it to the final, that match will also be held in Colombo. Otherwise, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the final.


In the event of a semi-final clash between India and Pakistan, it will take place in Colombo, while Mumbai will host Semi-Final 2 if India faces a different opponent.


The Men in Blue will begin their journey on February 7 with a group-stage match against the USA at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
