Similarly, former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan conveyed his Holi wishes to his followers on Instagram, saying, "Happy Holi. Wishing you a Holi filled with vibrant colours, joy, and laughter."

In cricket news, the Indian team, under Gambhir's guidance, has successfully reached the semifinals of the T20 World Cup 2026. They are set to face England, the two-time T20 World Cup champions, at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.


India secured their semifinal spot with a convincing five-wicket victory over the West Indies in their last Super 8s match, which was crucial for both teams as they were tied on points. England, captained by Harry Brook, enters the semifinal with an impressive streak of five consecutive wins in the tournament.

India faced a challenging start in the Super 8s, suffering a significant 76-run defeat against South Africa. However, they bounced back against the West Indies, where Sanju Samson's outstanding performance, scoring 97*, led the team to victory.
