Paris, Oct 6: In an exhilarating conclusion to their international break, Zinedine Zidane's French squad achieved a remarkable 4-1 victory over Belgium at the Stade de France, securing the top position in their Nations League group.

France staged a stunning comeback, scoring four goals within just 14 minutes of the second half after initially trailing. Dodi Lukebakio had put Belgium ahead with a goal in the first half.

After the break, Zidane made effective use of his talented substitutes, leading to a shift in momentum as Desire Doue and Rayan Cherki quickly netted two goals. Michael Olise later added two more goals, ensuring France's unbeaten streak in Group A1 continued.

In the 35th minute, Romeo Lavia delivered a precise through ball to Dodi Lukebakio, who capitalized on a lapse in the French defense to score, placing the ball in the top right corner past goalkeeper Guillaume Restes.

Lucas Da Cunha set up Doue in the 77th minute, allowing him to equalize with a low shot that found the side netting despite a crowded defense.

Michael Olise then showcased his skills by cutting inside past Joaquin Seys, entering the penalty area, and delivering a low cross to Rayan Cherki, who scored to give France a 2-1 lead, despite the Belgian goalkeeper's attempt to intervene.

Olise electrified the crowd by scoring two quick goals in the 88th minute and 90+1 minute, both assisted by Doue.

In just fourteen minutes, the substitutes had turned the match around, marking Belgium's second defeat in this tie (1-0). Thus, Les Bleus remain unbeaten as they embark on the Zinédine Zidane era with three wins and one draw.

Looking ahead, the French team has two matches scheduled in November: a visit to Milan to face Italy on November 12, followed by a home game against Turkey on November 15 in Bordeaux.
