FIFA World Cup 2026 Streaming Issues Reported by ZEE5 Subscribers

Subscribers to ZEE5's FIFA World Cup 2026 streaming plans are voicing their frustrations over significant issues with the service. Many users report being unable to stream matches on multiple devices as promised, with some even being logged out when trying to switch devices. This has led to widespread dissatisfaction, especially given the tournament's late-night match schedules in India. As complaints continue to surface on social media, ZEE5 has yet to address these concerns publicly. The situation raises questions about the platform's reliability and its commitment to customer satisfaction during major sporting events.

Concerns Over Streaming Quality for FIFA World Cup 2026

Football enthusiasts who subscribed to special plans on ZEE5 to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 are expressing dissatisfaction with the streaming service. The tournament, which commenced on June 11, 2026, and will conclude on July 19, is being co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking the first time three nations have jointly hosted the event. This edition is also the largest in FIFA's history, featuring 48 teams, 104 matches, and 16 host cities across North America. Despite ZEE5 being the official digital streaming partner for the World Cup in India, many viewers who opted for the three-device streaming plan are struggling to watch on even one device, according to numerous complaints from consumers.

Images and videos shared on social media highlight these issues, although they have not been independently verified. Complaints include difficulties in streaming matches on multiple devices simultaneously, with some users reporting that logging into a second device results in being logged out of the first. This has led to frustration, especially since many matches are scheduled late at night in India, making it inconvenient for families who wish to watch different games at the same time.

Many subscribers have noted that the responses from ZEE5 regarding their complaints have been generic and unhelpful. When the subscription packs were launched, ZEE5 promoted the Rs 799 three-month "FIFA World Cup 2026 + All Access" plan as allowing streaming on three devices, while the Rs 1,699 annual plan was advertised for four devices. However, users have reported that these limits have been reduced, with the Rs 799 plan now only permitting streaming on a single device, leading to messages indicating that the device limit has been reached.

As the official digital streaming service for the FIFA World Cup in India, ZEE5 has yet to respond to inquiries regarding these consumer complaints. Questions have been raised about how the company plans to address these streaming issues and whether it considers resolving such technical challenges essential for maintaining customer trust in the long run. Updates will be provided if ZEE5 responds to these queries.
