Faizan Anwar's Impressive Win at Super Fighter Series 3
Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], May 19: In a thrilling display of skill, India's unbeaten professional boxer Faizan Anwar achieved a resounding victory against Ghana's Kpakpo Allotey during the 10-round Welterweight international boxing match at the Super Fighter Series 3, held at Sunburn Union.
The Dubai-based Anwar, who hails from Kolkata, captivated the audience with his performance, earning applause after each round. The event showcased a stellar fight card featuring ten intense bouts, organized by Grassroot Boxing and Crown Boxing, with participants from India and various countries, including Ghana, Ukraine, and Belarus, lighting up the ring, as reported by WBA.
In the co-main event for the WBA Asia Middle-East Super Lightweight title, Ukraine's Danylo Honcharul triumphed over Dagestan's Ruslan Kamilov, securing victory via Technical Knockout after Kamilov retired in Round 3.
Other notable matches included Mizoram's F. Zoramchhana defeating Bengaluru's Harsh Saroha by Unanimous Decision, while fellow Bengaluru boxer Kamla Roka also won against Punjab's Mehakpreet by unanimous decision.
Three additional boxers who have made Bengaluru their training ground—Rohit Choudhary from Punjab, Aman Bahadur from West Bengal, and Ritesh Singh Bisht from Uttarakhand—also celebrated victories in their respective bouts.
In a highly anticipated women's match, Haryana's Rani Devi emerged victorious over Belarus's Aleksandra Sitnikova, winning by unanimous decision.
