Rajasthan United FC is eager to impress their home crowd after suffering a 1-3 defeat against Aizawl FC in their last outing. The team is determined to turn their fortunes around.

Assistant coach Vikas Rawat emphasized the importance of this match, stating, “We are putting in a lot of effort to secure three points and return to winning form. The players are highly motivated. Namdhari is a strong team that aims to control the game. We cannot afford to drop any more points.”

With Astray orchestrating play in midfield and experienced players like Abhishek Ambekar providing width, the home side aims to convert their possession into a significant win. Captain and goalkeeper Bhabindra Malla Thakuri will play a vital role in leading a defense that is keen to improve after their last performance.

Namdhari, led by head coach Harpreet Singh, is looking for their first victory of the season after drawing their first two matches. They come into this game following a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Gokulam Kerala.

Namdhari forward Seilenthang Lotjem shared, “We are getting better with each match. We are preparing thoroughly and will strive to perform well in this game. It will be challenging, but we aim to secure three points.”

With a strong Ghanaian presence, Namdhari will aim to withstand the home team’s pressure and capitalize on counter-attacks. They are focused on maintaining their unbeaten streak and executing a strategic game plan for an essential away win.

In their last four encounters, Rajasthan United has won two matches, while Namdhari has one victory and there has been one draw, with Rajasthan winning the last match 2-1 at this venue.

Rajasthan United is eager to make a strong statement at home, while Namdhari SA will rely on their resilience and physicality in what promises to be a competitive clash.

In the evening match, Aizawl FC will host Real Kashmir FC at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium after achieving their first win of the season with a convincing 3-1 victory over Rajasthan United. Head coach R. Lalruatfela has instilled a clear tactical approach, trusting his all-Mizo lineup to execute a fast-paced, wing-oriented attack.

Despite their strong start, Lalruatfela remains focused on immediate results rather than long-term standings. “Honestly, I’m not concerned about the top six or bottom six; whenever we play for Aizawl, our goal is to secure three points,” he stated. “We are exceeding expectations and will continue to improve in upcoming matches.”

Real Kashmir FC, under head coach Ishfaq Ahmed, is looking to recover from a 1-2 loss to Shillong Lajong. Ahmed acknowledged the challenges of the early season, saying, “After a long break from football, it has been tough for everyone, but we are improving daily and striving to become a stronger team with each match.”

Adapting to the conditions in Aizawl will test their endurance, but Ahmed’s message is clear: “In a short league, every game is crucial. My directive to the players is straightforward – give your all, adhere to the plans, and the results will follow.”

Historically, Real Kashmir FC has the upper hand in their encounters, boasting seven wins against Aizawl’s one victory, along with five draws. In their last meeting in Srinagar, the home team narrowly won 2-1.

With three vital points at stake, Aizawl FC will aim to maintain their position at the top of the table, while Real Kashmir seeks their first win of the season.
