Fernandez joins the Premier League champions following a successful period at Chelsea from 2023 to 2026, where he celebrated victories in both the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025. His career began in Argentina with Defensa y Justicia and River Plate, where he secured four significant titles, before moving to Benfica from 2022 to 2023, where he clinched the Primeira Liga.
