Dehradun T20 League 2026 Scheduled for September

The Dehradun T20 League 2026 is ready to kick off, with all six franchise teams having officially revealed their complete rosters. The tournament is slated to take place from September 2 to September 9 at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy in Dehradun, as stated in a recent press release. This league will showcase emerging young cricketers from Uttarakhand alongside well-known players from the IPL and domestic cricket.

Officials Highlight League's Impact on Local Talent

Subodh Uniyal, the Uttarakhand Government Cabinet Minister, was present at the players' draft as the Chief Guest. He expressed his encouragement to the players, stating, "Uttarakhand is rich in talent. The Dehradun T20 League offers our young athletes a platform to showcase their skills and gain recognition at the national level. The state government is committed to supporting sports and athletes, and I believe this league will significantly advance cricket in Uttarakhand."

Mahim Verma, former Vice-President of the BCCI and Guest of Honour at the event, remarked, "This league is more than just a competition; it represents a vital opportunity for local cricketers to develop. When young players from Uttarakhand share the field with seasoned captains and IPL players, their confidence and cricketing standards will undoubtedly rise."

Navneet Mishra, CEO of the Dehradun T20 League, provided insights into the preparations, stating, "We have ensured top-notch facilities and optimal playing conditions for the athletes. Our goal is to foster an environment where every player can express themselves freely and perform at their peak. Fans can anticipate thrilling cricket over the eight-day event."

PC Verma, Chief Patron of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU), along with CAD President Sandeep Rawat and Secretary Piyush Kumar Raghuvanshi, were also in attendance, extending their best wishes to all participating teams.
