Los Angeles, Aug 12: Renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has officially married his long-time partner, Georgina Rodríguez, during a small ceremony in Portugal.

The 41-year-old athlete exchanged vows with Rodríguez, a model, in a civil ceremony held on August 11, 2026, in Cascais, Portugal, as reported by a press release.

This special event was described as a “private and intimate moment,” attended solely by their five children. Following the ceremony, Ronaldo shared a touching photo of their hands adorned with wedding rings, captioned: “C (heart emoji) G.”

The couple, who began their relationship in 2017, are proud parents to five children.

This wedding follows Rodríguez's engagement announcement in August 2025.

Rodríguez had previously posted a close-up of her hand resting on Ronaldo’s, showcasing her stunning oval-shaped diamond ring.

In her caption, she expressed, “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” which translates to, “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”

Their family includes twins Eva Maria and Mateo, daughter Alana, daughter Bella, and 16-year-old Cristiano Jr., whom Ronaldo had from a previous relationship.

Tragically, they also faced the loss of Bella’s twin brother, Ángel, who passed away shortly after birth in April 2022.

Ronaldo first met Rodríguez in 2017 when she was a sales assistant at a Gucci store. They made their red carpet debut together at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January 2017, and by May, they confirmed their relationship on Instagram.

In Rodríguez’s Netflix reality series, I Am Georgina, Ronaldo reflected on their early romance, noting that he found her to be a “very interesting girl, much more mature for her age,” although he initially doubted the longevity of their relationship.
