Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his excitement on social media after winning his first Saudi Pro League title with Al Nassr. The star player scored twice in a crucial 4-1 victory over Damac, leading his team to their 11th league championship. This win is particularly significant as it marks Al Nassr's first title since Ronaldo's arrival in January 2023. The club celebrated the achievement with a joyful post featuring Ronaldo. With over 100 goals for Al Nassr, Ronaldo continues to add to his illustrious career, now holding league titles across five countries. He is also set to represent Portugal in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
 

Ronaldo's Joyful Triumph in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - On May 22, football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to share his excitement after securing his first Saudi Pro League (SPL) title. The athlete played a pivotal role in leading Al Nassr to their 11th league championship, scoring two goals in a commanding 4-1 win against Damac on Friday night. Ronaldo expressed how significant this victory is for both him and the club.


Following Al Nassr's triumph, Ronaldo posted on Instagram, exclaiming, "It means so much to us YALLA NASSR!"


In another enthusiastic post, he simply captioned it with "CHAMPIONS!!!!!"


Al Nassr also celebrated their achievement on Instagram, sharing a video of Ronaldo joyfully beating a drum. Their caption read, "The joy of victory. A whole season we were celebrating together. Today our leader is led by our festive. Usually, he leads the celebrations. Tonight, he is the celebration."


The title was clinched on the last matchday of the season, with Al Nassr finishing ahead of their rivals, Al Hilal. This victory marked the club's first league title since Ronaldo joined the team in January 2023.


In addition to Ronaldo's brace, former Liverpool player Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman also contributed goals in this decisive match.


The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has now netted over 100 goals for Al Nassr in three seasons in Saudi Arabia.


With this latest achievement, Ronaldo adds another prestigious trophy to his remarkable career, having now won domestic league titles in Portugal, England, Spain, Italy, and Saudi Arabia.


The Saudi Pro League title is Ronaldo's second trophy with Al Nassr, following their victory in the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023, where they defeated Al Hilal 2-1 in the final, with Ronaldo scoring twice. However, this title is not recognized by FIFA.


At 41 years old, Ronaldo is also preparing to represent Portugal in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking his sixth appearance in the tournament.
