He encouraged aspiring athletes to uphold discipline, adhere to a nutritious diet, heed their coaches' advice, and steer clear of distractions while chasing their ambitions.

India made history in athletics at the Commonwealth Games 2026, with Neeraj Chopra earning a silver medal and newcomer Yashvir Singh taking home bronze in the men's javelin throw, achieving a remarkable 1-2 finish for the nation.

"I feel fantastic. This is my first international competition, the Commonwealth Games. Prior to this, I participated in the Asian Championship and World Championship, but this is the most significant tournament of my life, and I won a bronze in my debut. To the youth of Rajasthan, I want to emphasize the importance of discipline, paying attention to your diet, focusing on your coach's guidance, and avoiding distractions," Yashvir Singh stated.

Sri Lanka's Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage delivered an outstanding performance, clinching the gold medal with a remarkable throw of 89.75m on his second attempt.

India wrapped up a remarkable Commonwealth Games campaign in Glasgow, amassing a total of 39 medals: 13 gold, 17 silver, and nine bronze, securing fourth place in the overall medal tally.
