Women's T20 Asia Cup 2026 Set for Dubai

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially unveiled the schedule for the upcoming Women's T20 Asia Cup 2026, which will take place in Dubai from August 28 to September 13, as reported by a sports news outlet.

The tournament will kick off with a match between Hong Kong and Thailand on August 28. A highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan is slated for September 5.

All games will be held under floodlights at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, culminating in the final on September 13.

Group A features India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, and Thailand, while the defending champions, Sri Lanka, are in Group B with Bangladesh, Indonesia, and the host nation, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

A significant match in Group B will see Sri Lanka face Bangladesh on September 6.

Throughout the group stage, each team will compete against every other team in their group once. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.

The first semi-final will take place on September 10, featuring the winners of Group A against the runners-up from Group B, while the second semi-final is scheduled for September 11, pitting the Group A runners-up against the Group B winners.

This edition marks the sixth occurrence of the Women's Asia Cup in the T20 format.
