Virat Kohli Dismisses False Claims of Charter Flights to London for IPL 2026
Virat Kohli Responds to Viral Travel Rumors
A recent viral claim circulating on social media suggested that Virat Kohli was requesting chartered flights between India and London in anticipation of the Indian Premier League 2026. The cricketer himself has swiftly refuted these allegations, sparking a flurry of reactions online.
The now-deleted post from the Instagram account @worldinlast24hrs claimed that Kohli had asked the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for special travel arrangements, intending to fly to London during breaks exceeding three days between matches.
The post stated, 'Virat Kohli’s big demands: Reports indicate that Kohli requested RCB management for chartered flights to London. He plans to travel there if there’s a gap of more than three days between games and return just before the next match.'
In response, Kohli took to his Instagram story to debunk the rumor, sharing a screenshot of the misleading claims and adding two laughing emojis to emphasize his disbelief.
After Kohli's clarification, the Instagram page issued a statement acknowledging that the claim was misleading and based on unverified sources, clarifying that the post was inaccurate.
The incident quickly gained traction, with fans taking to social media to share humorous reactions.
One user commented, 'News so outrageous even Kohli had to fact-check it,' while another added, 'Don’t mess with King Kohli.'
Another user on X remarked, 'The person behind that fake news must be feeling quite pleased today despite being exposed.' Someone else humorously noted, 'Kohli be like- When did this happen?'
