In a thrilling finale, 15-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi delivered an outstanding performance, scoring an impressive 94 runs off just 29 balls, leading India A to a commanding 66-run victory against Sri Lanka A to secure the Team Tri-Series title on Sunday.

Sooryavanshi's explosive innings included 10 boundaries and eight sixes, setting a new record for the fastest fifty in List A cricket, achieved in just 11 balls. This remarkable effort propelled India A to a formidable total of 377 runs for 9 wickets after Sri Lanka A chose to bowl first.


Chasing a daunting target, Sri Lanka A struggled throughout their innings, ultimately being bowled out for 311 runs in 47.1 overs, with wickets falling consistently.


The Sri Lankan side saw some resistance from Sadeera Samarawickrama, who scored 52 runs off 44 balls, and Wanuja Sahan, who contributed a solid 62 runs off 69 balls.
