In this match, Sooryavanshi, who briefly took over the captaincy in the absence of Ishan Kishan, scored a rapid 92 runs in the first innings and followed it up with 40 runs in the second, playing a pivotal role in East Zone's successful chase of 159 runs.


Sooryavanshi has consistently performed well for India U19, India A, and the Rajasthan Royals in various formats, and he proved his mettle in this crucial red-ball match for East Zone.
