In a remarkable turn of events, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made headlines as India faced defeat against England in the second T20I of their five-match series at Old Trafford, Manchester. At just 15 years and 99 days, he broke Sachin Tendulkar's record to become the youngest player to debut for the Indian cricket team. However, he is not the youngest cricketer in the international arena; there are players who have debuted even earlier. For instance, Sajjida Shah from Pakistan made her ODI debut at the age of 12 years and 171 days against Ireland on July 23, 2000, marking her as the youngest cricketer overall. Among male cricketers, Marian Gherasim from Romania holds the record for the youngest debut at 14 years and 16 days. In terms of full member nations, the youngest male debutant is Pakistan's Hasan Raza, who was 14 years and 227 days old when he played against Zimbabwe in 1996.
