Making his T20 captaincy debut, Urvil delivered an impressive unbeaten 119 runs off only 37 balls, marking a significant milestone in his career. His explosive batting included 12 fours and 10 sixes, allowing Gujarat to chase down a target of 183 with 45 balls to spare.

After joining Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as an injury replacement in the IPL 2025 season, Urvil was retained by the team, which he credits for boosting his self-confidence.
