South Africa's Decision to Bowl First
On Wednesday, Temba Bavuma, the captain of South Africa, won the toss and decided to bowl first in the second One Day International (ODI) against India.
The South African team made three adjustments to their lineup, bringing in Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, and Bavuma himself, who had missed the opening match. They replaced Prenelan Subrayen, Ryan Rickelton, and Ottniel Baartman.
India, currently leading the three-match series 1-0, opted to keep their squad unchanged.
This toss marks the 20th consecutive time that India has lost the toss in ODIs.
