Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 14: On his 36th birthday, Suryakumar Yadav received warm wishes from his wife, Devisha, who shared a touching message on social media to celebrate the occasion.

As a two-time T20 World Cup champion and a key figure in modern T20I batting for India, Suryakumar marked this milestone on Monday.

Devisha took to Instagram to express her love, writing, "Happy happy birthday to my home, my heart! As the lyrics say, I’ll be with you wherever you are."

Throughout his career, Suryakumar has reached numerous milestones, including being named the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year in both 2022 and 2023.

He achieved the top spot in the ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings in October 2022, boasting an impressive 910 rating points in January 2023, one of the highest ratings ever recorded in this format.

His pivotal role in India's ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory was highlighted by a memorable catch of David Miller in the final against South Africa. He later captained the team to the 2026 T20 World Cup title, making India the first team to defend the title successfully. Under his leadership, India also clinched the T20 Asia Cup 2025 in the UAE.

Known for his dynamic batting style and innovative stroke play, Suryakumar has been a significant contributor to India's success. In 113 T20Is, he has amassed 3,272 runs at an average of 36.35 and a strike rate of 162.94, including four centuries and 25 fifties, making him the third-highest run-scorer for India in this format.

In addition to his T20I achievements, he has played 37 ODIs, scoring 773 runs at an average of 25.76 and a strike rate of 105.02, with four fifties and a top score of 72*. In his sole Test match, he scored eight runs against Australia in 2023.

Suryakumar, affectionately known as 'SKY', has also enjoyed success in the Indian Premier League (IPL), winning titles with both Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI). He has accumulated 4,581 runs in 179 matches and 164 innings, averaging 33.68 with a strike rate of 148.58, including two centuries and 31 fifties, with a best score of 103*.
