As emotions peaked in the dimming light, Sri Lanka A's wicketkeeper Niroshan Dickwella intervened to calm the situation, according to reports from a sports media outlet.


The match concluded with both teams tied after the standard 50 overs, necessitating a Super Over to determine the victor. Sri Lanka A managed to score 16 runs in the tie-breaker, putting India A under significant pressure.


In response, India A could only muster nine runs, with debutant pacer Kugathas Mathulan showcasing a stellar performance reminiscent of Matheesha Pathirana, effectively stifling Sooryavanshi and Suryansh Shedge to secure the win for the home team.


Earlier in the match, India A made a remarkable comeback from a precarious position at 143 for 7, thanks to a brilliant 104-run partnership between Suryansh Shedge and Vipraj Nigam for the eighth wicket, which propelled India A to a respectable total of 265, setting the stage for an exhilarating finish.
