In Seville, Spain, on September 30, the Spanish national team showcased their prowess by defeating Croatia 4-1 in the UEFA Nations League, marking a remarkable achievement of 40 consecutive matches without a loss.

The reigning champions of Europe and the FIFA World Cup displayed a dominant performance in the first half, while the second half saw a more balanced contest.

Lamine Yamal opened the scoring just two minutes into the match, capitalizing on a play initiated by Marc Cucurella and assisted by Fermin Lopez, swiftly sending the ball past goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic.

Croatia equalized in the 28th minute when Ivan Perisic's cross found Dion Drena Beljo, who headed it into the net.

However, Lamine quickly restored Spain's lead just three minutes later, delivering a precise cross from the right that Marc Pubil converted with a header.

By halftime, Spain held a 2-1 advantage.
