A particularly memorable moment occurred in the 13th over of GT's innings when Kohli made a 'snake gesture' towards someone, leading many to speculate it was directed at Gill, as the cameras quickly shifted to the 26-year-old. Social media buzzed with claims that Gill was actually pointing at the scorecard and then at Kohli. Earlier in the match, Kohli had taken a catch to dismiss Gill after he scored a rapid 43 runs off just 18 balls, celebrating the wicket with enthusiasm.
