Seema Kaliramana, a dedicated PhD scholar from the Department of Physical Education at Chaudhary Bansi Lal University (CBLU) in Bhiwani, Haryana, has made her nation proud by clinching a bronze medal in the women's discus throw at the Commonwealth Games 2026 held in Glasgow. Her impressive throw of 58.65 metres earned her this prestigious accolade. In acknowledgment of her success, the university has announced a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh as part of its sports promotion initiative.
