Sara's Heartfelt Tribute to Arjun

Sara Tendulkar recently took to Instagram to express her heartfelt emotions for her younger brother, Arjun, in a post that quickly gained traction online. She shared an interview featuring the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) player, which he conducted prior to the commencement of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL). This season is particularly significant for Arjun as he transitions from the Mumbai Indians (MI) after a five-year tenure, where his father, Sachin Tendulkar, continues to mentor. Arjun has joined LSG through a trade deal, maintaining a salary of ₹30 lakh. This trade was one of two between the franchises, with Shardul Thakur moving to MI.

Sara's Support for Arjun

In her post, Sara referred to Arjun as 'the kindest soul' while sharing the interview link.

Arjun recently discussed his departure from MI on the Shubhakar Mishra Podcast, revealing that he struggled with being sidelined. Over five seasons, he participated in only five matches under the leadership of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya. He expressed, “I always feel it. Doesn’t anyone feel it? Work hard and perform when the opportunity arises.” He added, “I haven't left my comfort zone. I'm having fun here too.”

Arjun's Current Status with LSG

As of now, Arjun has not yet made an appearance in LSG's playing XI for their initial two matches. He faces stiff competition for a place in the lineup, as the Rishabh Pant-led team boasts a formidable group of fast bowlers, including cricket legend Mohammed Shami, South Africa's Anrich Nortje, and several promising Indian pacers like Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan, Mayank Yadav, Prince Yadav, and Akash Singh.

Arjun's Recent Marriage

In a personal milestone, Arjun recently married Saaniya Chandok in Mumbai, with numerous notable figures from the cricket world, Bollywood, and politics in attendance.
